Life can feel overwhelming at times like a cup of chai overflowing because too much has been poured in. Counseling helps you pause, process, and find balance so you don’t feel like everything is spilling over.
In a session, you will sit with a trained professional (me!) who doesn’t just listen but helps you identify patterns in your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. We don’t just talk, we work on practical strategies to improve emotional well-being, manage stress, and develop healthier ways of thinking and responding to life.
It's not about someone giving you advice or telling you what to do, it’s about equipping you with the tools to handle life better on your own. Whether it’s stress, self doubt, relationships, or career confusion, we work together to build self-awareness and find solutions that actually work for you.
Counseling is not about “fixing” you because you are not broken. It’s about equipping you with skills to handle life in a healthier, more balanced way. You already have the strength in you our work is to bring it forward. Here are some areas we can work on together:
Overthinking and mental clutter – If your mind feels like a noisy Delhi ka traffic jam, we work on organizing your thoughts so you feel clearer and more in control.
Building confidence and self-worth – Helping you see yourself beyond self-doubt, like polishing a mirror so you can recognize your own strengths.
Relationship issues – Whether it’s family conflicts, friendship struggles, or romantic relationships, we untangle unhealthy patterns and build better communication.
Career and academic stress – Managing the pressure of studies, work deadlines, or big life decisions without burning out.
Handling burnout and emotional overwhelm – Learning tools to stay calm, centered, and manage emotions better, rather than letting them control you.
Building acceptance and coping from past experiences – Processing difficult emotions, childhood wounds, or past events that still affect you today, like gently untangling old knots instead of ignoring them.
Adapting to change and uncertainty – Whether it's a job change, breakup, or moving to a new city, we work on finding stability even when life feels unpredictable.
And much more.
Just like you wouldn’t go to a general physician for surgery, some mental health concerns require specialized care beyond what I provide. My focus is on helping individuals build self-awareness, emotional resilience, and healthy coping strategies, but there are certain areas I don’t work with:
Crisis intervention (Immediate suicide ideation) – If someone is in immediate danger or experiencing suicidal thoughts that require urgent help, it’s important to reach out to a crisis helpline or emergency mental health services. I do not provide emergency support.
Diagnosed mental illnesses – If you have a diagnosed condition like schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, or psychotic disorders, a clinical psychologist or psychiatrist who specializes in these areas would be better equipped to support you.
Mental health assessments – I do not provide formal psychological evaluations, diagnostic testing, or reports required for medical, academic, or legal purposes.
Severe cases of anxiety and depression – If anxiety or depression is significantly affecting daily life to the point of being unable to function at all, clinical intervention (such as therapy with a clinical psychologist or psychiatric treatment) is recommended.
Individuals below 18 years of age – My sessions are designed for adults, and I do not provide therapy or counseling for children or teenagers.
If any of these apply to you, it doesn’t mean you don’t deserve support, it simply means a different type of professional would be the best fit for your needs. If needed, I can guide you towards the right resources so you receive the appropriate care.
